Cultivating cultural awareness among children in the recent era is inevitable, children nowadays are exposed to a wide array of cultures from around the globe. It is indeed crucial to provide them with an accurate and authentic understanding of each culture. It is important to present a true and comprehensive picture of different cultures, allowing children to appreciate their diversity and develop a more nuanced perspective.

To raise global citizens, we can empower children to have knowledge of different cultures, promote empathy and understanding, and foster a sense of responsibility towards the world. This can include reading books of different cultures, celebrating multicultural holidays, planning trips .We can also expose them to the music and movies from different cultural backgrounds .Secondly, and we can encourage them to interact them with people from different cultures, whether it is through community events, cultural festival or even pen pals. This allows them to gain firsthand experience and build connections .By being exposed to different cultures children become more open-minded, tolerant and accepting of differences .They also develop strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Embracing mindfulness:

Raising cultural awareness among children have a profound effect on their mental health as well, it broadens their perspective and helps them develop a sense of belonging in this diverse world. This can boost their self-esteem and reduce feeling of isolation and prejudice. Additionally, learning about different cultures, promotes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, which are all beneficial for mental well-being.
